Etienne goes purple around the world

Etienne Messikommer is following in the wake of his heroes when he starts in the Golden Globe Race 2026 in September. We met Swiss and his very colorful boat in Brest, France, where he is making the final preparations. We talked about his sailing heroes, his passion for sailing, strugle for sponsorship, and, of course, his drive to sail around the world solo and nonstop.
